In the last two months, I’ve spent a lot of time checking out available generative ai tool recommendations for writing, one of my favorite pastimes. At the beginning of this journey, I thought that using generative AI would be a replacement for my creativity and wanted to avoid them. Yet now, I see that it is just the opposite.
Thanks to these tools, I develop new ideas faster, learn about mistakes and inefficiencies more quickly, and spend less time with technical details. This all leads to me being able to produce more while maintaining the level of quality and personality that I want my writing to have.
I recommend that any writers in my network try them out. They are all straightforward to learn and use. I can't talk this up enough. It's always with me on all of my devices. I've seen it on LinkedIn mentioned as something for non-native speakers, but I find that it's for anyone.
Hemingway Editor
This tool has quite a high bar for the quality of writing, and that's a good thing. I love that sentences are highlighted according to complexity, so it's very easy to see where the most significant issues are.
Wordtune
This one is also an important educational tool for me. I write a sentence, and it lets me know other ways that it could be expressed. Over time I've learned quite a bit that I put into my writing.
Writesonic
Sometimes, I need to create a lot of content, but I need some inspiration. I must describe what I need, and some excellent, professional content emerges. I love that, in the case of website content, it also considers SEO optimization.
