ANGELINE CORVAGLIA

I work where technology’s choices meet real lives.

The people who live with the consequences of technology have no way to make their experiences count.

I’m building the infrastructure to change that.

Angeline Corvaglia

Over the past two years, I’ve brought together 500+ practitioners from 40 countries, people working at the ground level of online safety, digital rights, and AI accountability. Many were doing brilliant work in isolation. Through SHIELD, their voices are now in the same room, amplifying each other and reaching audiences that would never have encountered them otherwise.

Now I’m building the systems that turn what they’re seeing into evidence that decision-makers cannot ignore. A decade as a CFO taught me to read accountability structures and risk architecture. That lens is what allows me to translate ground-level knowledge into the language that resonates in boardrooms, policy rooms, and governance conversations.

What I'm Working On

SHIELD

A global coalition of 500+ practitioners from 40 countries working to close the gap between what technology promises and what it delivers. We convened 80 speakers across 3 days, producing a 111-page reference document that synthesizes what’s working, what’s failing, and why.

SIGNAL

Part of SHIELD’s work. The system that turns fragmented observations of tech harm into policy-grade evidence. Practitioners see patterns every day but lack tools to aggregate them. SIGNAL gives communities the data infrastructure they’ve never had, building a global evidence base .

GEN:R

CPD-accredited training programs that equip students, educators, parents, and professionals with frameworks to engage with AI safely and ethically. We responsible AI literacy across three programs: AI for educators, AI literacy for schools, and AI and the future of work for youth and professionals.

Data Girl and Friends

Educational materials that prepare children for the online world they’re inheriting. We cover online privacy, responsible social media usage, AI awareness, and digital citizenship in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and actionable.

The Quiet Cost

My podcast examines moments where the gap between what tech companies promise and what they deliver becomes impossible to ignore. It covers one concrete event and examines the systems operating underneath it.

Speaking

I’ve been featured on podcasts including

  • VR CyberTalks,
  • The Data Diva Talks Privacy,
  • My EdTech Life,
  • Humans WithAI,
  • What Gets Measured,
  • She Said Privacy/He Said Security, and
  • Navigating the Digital Jungle.

I speak about the structural gaps in how civil society responds to tech harm, the intelligence failures in online safety advocacy, and how to build coordination infrastructure at scale.
